Matla Tourism Youth Organisation will celebrate it's 5th annual event, in commemorating the life of the fallen world war military hero Lucas Majozi, hailing from the dusty streets of Zastron.
The organisation is under the sterling leadership of Molahlehi Lechoo, whom has been dedicated in celebrating and educating about the life of Majozi through various activities with the residents of Zastron, Matlakeng.
Lucas Majozi born 1916-1969, was a World War veteran who displayed bravery as a stretcher to save his fellow wounded country men.
"The respect I have for him is immense, as a medical personnel at a world war Majozi did magnificent and brave things. With a number of bullets in his body he returned time after time into a veritable hell of machine gun fire to pull-out wounded men. He is a man of whom South Africa can well be proud of, he is a credit to his country", said Lechoo.

"We celebrate such heroes to inspire our people and take pride that he's from my hometown. The platform we are creating aims at nurturing young talents, by giving them a platform to build their love and confidence. We have talented people at Zastron all they need is an opportunity to shine", said Lechoo.
