Zastron residents will soon see new locations being added to the town's demarcation, with more than 4000 new sites excepted to be allocated.
The remarks were made by Mohokare Municipality Mayor Zingisa Mgawuli, during a community Imbizo held at Zama Sports Ground, today (Thurs).
Mgawuli reiterated that they have been working on the project since 2021, and so far she's pleased with the breakthrough.
Three new locations Extension 11,12,13 will be the new development that will soon expand the town of Zastron.
"We need to come back with answers to some of the community's grievances, and addressing the issue of land is a commitment fulfilled. We have been working tirelessly since 2021 to redistribute land for our people. Finally that project will commence and our people can be able to sleep peacefully knowing they own a piece of land," said Mgawuli.

The mayor urged those that will be beneficiaries of the sites not to sell their stand.
She also noted that the Hemp project will also commence soon.
This project will see about 250 people in three towns of Mohokare being trained for the plantation of Hemp.
This will immensely impact the economy of Mohokare tremendously and create job opportunities for the locals.
