The Elliot Moletsane Remembrance Tournament is organised by Matlakeng Creative Arts And Crafts an Elliot Moletsane Foundation Organisation.

The tournament took place last week Sunday at Zastron, Zama Sports Ground.

After a successful inaugural event last year, the organisers were thrilled to once again bring together some of the best young soccer talent in the region.

The 2nd annual Elliot Moletsane Remembrance Tournament delivered on their promises in bringing an even bigger and better celebration of youth soccer, with an exciting lineup of matches, skills challenges, and fun activities for all participants.

The tournament consisted of 8 teams from the Mohokare region, which saw Dihanyata Tse Makwebeta walking away with bragging rights and the trophy.

The tournament top goal scorer was S. Moahloli from Dihanyata Tse Makwebeta.

Coach of the tournament was T. Madlokovana from Rouxville Young Stars.

Goalkeeper of the tournament title was scooped by M Qithini also from Rouxville Young Stars.

The tournaments trophy is a floating trophy, this means the winner of the tournament will come back next year to defend their title.

"Building on the success of our first tournament, we have expanded the field to include even more teams,and we expect the competition to be fierce. Our tournament is designed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork,and healthy competition, and we are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for all players, coaches and spectators", noted event organiser Bataung Moletsane.
