LEMO MALL MANGAUNG INAUGURAL MARATHON GRACED BY LEADERSHIP

The Free State Premier Mxolisi Dukwana together with Mangaung Executive Mayor Gregory Nthatisi attended the inaugural Lemo Mall Marathon, held today (Sat) at Lemo Mall Bloemfontein.

The race distance ranged from 42 kilometres to five kilometres, a platform provided for individuals of all age and abilities to celebrate the spirit of camaraderie.

The Executive Mayor was joined by his deputy and both wished great things for the initiative.

"Today myself and my deputy joined the inaugural Lemo Mall Mangaung Marathon, we wish this great initiative many more miles and years for the future", said Nthatisi.

The event was a success as many people graced it with their attendance and were able to enjoy themselves especially at the fun run.

The marathon also served as a catalyst for advocating against Gender-based-violence, femicide and substance abuse.
