MACUFE 2025 BLITZ CAMPAIGN IGNITES THE FREE STATE SPIRIT

The official MACUFE 2025 Blitz Campaign is set to launch with an explosion of colour, sound, and passion, led by the Premier of the Free State, MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae, the MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture, and Recreation, Zanele Sifuba, and the entire Executive Council.

The launch will be on Friday (tomorrow) Starting Point, Mangaung City Hall, Bloemfontein at 10: 00 AM.

MACUFE is a call to unity that resonates from the farmlands of Xhariep to the urban pulse of Mangaung.

This year's festive promises to be a monumental celebration of all that makes our province great.

“To our proud Free Staters, our dedicated soccer lovers, and our cherished patrons of arts and entertainment across South Africa and the globe: the stage is set, the fields are waiting, and the spirit of ‘Hela Yalo San’ calls us together. MACUFE is more than a festival; it is the soul of our province. It is where our heritage dances, our stories are sung, and our future is forged in creativity and unity. In 2025, we don’t just attend MACUFE; we embody it. We are the rhythm, we are the roar, we are the culture.

Come, let us heal, let us celebrate, let us show the world the vibrant heart of South Africa”, said premier Letsoha-Mathae.

Meanwhile, MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture Zanele Sifuba called the province to rally together through this joyous and prideful time.

“This blitz is our starting whistle! It is the first note in a symphony of events that will captivate the world. We are rolling out the red carpet for every music lover, every theatre enthusiast, every dance crew, and every football fanatic. From the majestic sounds of our jazz legends to the electrifying energy of our rising stars, from the thrilling drama on stage to the beautiful game on the pitch – MACUFE 2025 is your

invitation to experience it all. This is for you. This is for us. Hela Yalo San!”, said MEC Sifuba.
