A Zastron based hip-hop artist Sive Ndabana 24, known by his stage name Wesley Amari, has released a new EP titled (Thixo WA Ma Nigga).

Since its release earlier this month, the new EP has been buzzing on social media and getting good reviews, a testimony that the muso has eaten and left no crumbs.

Ndaba noted he started being a music fanatic in 2011, when he was only 10 years old.

He discovered his talent for music in 2012 when he was in Grade 4.

At the time, he was staying with his grandparents from his father’s side in Sterkspruit, in a village called Mission.

The inspiration came from a group of teenagers who had a rap group called Fire16; their passion for music ignited the spirit of writing for Wesley.

In August 2012, he moved to Zastron after been inspired by the Fire16, upon his arrival at Matlakeng he joined another rap group by the name of EX BOYS.

“Thixo WA Ma Nigga is close to my heart because when I was writing it, I knew what I wanted the EP to do on the streets, and that’s becoming the talk of the town”, said Ndabana (Wesley Amari).

Ndabana reiterated that on the EP, track number four is the one close to his heart.

Through his music, the young artist hopes to motivate and inspire his peers and those who aspire to pursue music careers in the vicinity of Matlakeng.

“There’s a lack of support in Zastron; it’s like the community doesn’t care about us artists. Only a few people genuinely support the music because they see the dedication and passion we have for the craft. To me, it’s more than music, I must pave the way for the next generation and show them that circumstances don’t limit success”, said Ndabana.

The young muso is also uplifting upcoming artists by recording their projects at a small cost in his studio, which is also an opportunity for him to expand his studio.

Ndabana is urging the youth to believe in their dreams and persist despite facing challenges that might hinder their progress.

He added, “Believe in your dreams and know that nothing is impossible, it’s going to be hard, but keep your head down and keep working hard. The only way to succeed is only if you don’t give up on your dreams”.

Wesley aspires to making it big in the music industry and influence with his craft so he can open doors for young-upcoming artists from Zastron, Sterkspruit and Elliot.
